Fulltext PDFThe current study included a qualitative method to examine badminton players' actual views on concepts that are often considered essential for their play skills: intuition, pressure, and anticipation. Interviews of experts and novice badminton players found that the groups have different understandings of intuition, pressure and anticipation and will define the concepts by discussing experience, memory, knowledge, state of mind, thinking ahead, and the opponent's body language.
